Review: Blood Moon River

HM&M Films are back with a tale that will keep you glued to the screen and at the edge of your seat in their new flick Blood Moon River.

Clocking in at just 56 minutes this film focuses on a group of friends filming a show in the woods to debunk a legend. What happens from there, you’ll have to see for yourself.

Using the woods as the main setting works in favor of the film, we never really see what is lurking and frightening to group. Written by Tom Komisar & Daniel Murphy they also direct the film along with R.J. Cecott. The actors work well together and make the characters seem like life long friends, the effects from Harry McCane and Tim Grambell are put to good use. The film stars genre favorites Linda Shrader, Jack Norman, Stan Traylor, and Eric Reaume.

This isn’t your typical group of friends go to the woods story. With a twist ending that I didn’t see coming, this is sure to be a favorite for genre fans.
